We have spent many year converting this 400 year old Bishop´s Palace into one of the best boutique, chic hotels in Europe. Te building, which the Spanish Government has protected under local planning laws has a central courtyard around which there are 8 fantastically furnished en-suite guest bedrooms. We have created a fusion between the old and the new and have produced a beautiful hotel but with the freindliness of a family run hotel. We have tried to create a hotel where we would want to stay - breakfast where we have a start time and not a finish time, fantastically comfortable superking size beds with pocket-sprung mattresses, honesty bars so you can help yourself to a drink at any time of the day and at prices which are normal, great advice as to where to eat and drink, great suggestions for days out. Basically, our belief is that we want to provide more than just a hotel room, this is an overall experience where you will discover the real Spain whilst staying in great accommodation. A total experience.
Velez-Malaga has a rich cultrural history and the historic heart has been architecturally protected so as to maintain the uniqueness of this great town. Nowhere on the southern coast of Spain can you experience the real Spain whilst being able to catch a tram to the beaches. This fusion of culture, with sun, sea and sand is what we can offer.
